You heard me right! You need to pick a photographer. You need to sick with a photographer. And you need to let your photographer know you are their best friend and you’d crawl to the ends of the earth to support them and they will support you right back.
Let’s just do the math really quick.
1 brand/small business + photographer a = connection. That connection is your holy grail.
1 brand/small business + (photographer a – photographer a) + (photographer b – photographer b) + (photographer a -+ photographer a ) + photographer c = a while lot of math and a lot of complication.
As a brand, if you build a relationship and connection with your photographer, at least in my case, you will get so much out of it.
I strive to build connection with every brand and small business I work with. I want to let them know that I will always be there to support them.
If you are a business owner and you’re looking for a photographer, don’t just look at their style, look at the person that they are. Do you two have anything in common? Do you click?
As a photographer, anything they do is content that they can post and or feature on their website. Not only are you hiring them to take some rockin’ photos for you but you are also getting free marketing from their audience if you work to build a connection. Same goes if you are a photographer. The brand is posting your work and giving you free advertising.
The best thing out of all of this is you are keeping consistency in your brand. Every photographer has their set style. Consistency is key in business. Consistency sells because consistency is sexy in marketing.
Brands, don’t bump your photographer because another photographer comes along and photographers, don’t dump your brands. The word is so big and you can all do so much together!
