Should I Have 1 or 2 Locations for My Senior Session?

Tips + Resources

This is a common asked question when it comes to which senior photo package to pick. When it comes to your senior session we work together to get the most variety in our afternoon shooting together!

It is totally achievable to get a great variety between outfit changes and one location when planned out at your planning session with me but then what’s the point of having 2 spots?!

Here’s the difference:

1. Incorporate your school. If you play a sport and want to set the whole vibe, adding your school as a second location is a great add on for the variety. Ok, listen, I get it, your school isn’t the same as the aesthetics of a park or a beautiful flower field but it is part of your high school experience. If you run track or play tennis, you would want to have a second location vs having your school as the primary location for your senior session.

2. Somewhere that means a lot to you. One of my seniors decided to have one of her locations be her neighborhood pool since she had been swimming there growing up. As a waterpolo player she wanted to incorporate the water in her session and going to a local park as well as her pool gave her the most variety vs just standing on dry land with her uniform. Another one of my senior’s wanted to incorporate their historical house in a few pictures and it turned out beautiful!

3. You just like two spots. Sometimes when you’re making an investment in your senior photos, you just want two completely different vibes. One of my seniors decided to have one location be a park downtown as well as down by the arch. It gives you opportunity to have the maximum variety when each spot is different!
